Why I love teaching online preschool

My desire to teach preschool online stems from a passion to help parents successfully homeschool their children. It's incredibly rewarding to witness those "light bulb moments" when young learners grasp foundational skills. Seeing their eyes light up with understanding and excitement is truly the best part of what I do.

My unique teaching approach

What makes my teaching style special is the use of thematic units. These engaging themes encourage curiosity and spark a flood of questions from the children. This approach allows me to connect with each student on a personal level, truly getting to know them and their individual ways of thinking. This understanding then helps me tailor my teaching to their specific level and learning style, ensuring a deeper and more meaningful educational experience.

My experience with young learners

I bring over 20 years of dedicated experience working with preschool and early elementary aged children. I will also graduate in the Spring with my Early Childhood Care and Education Diploma and two child development certificates. I am planning to continue my studies to obtain my associates degree in teaching from Liberty University. My journey includes various settings, from church programs to traditional preschools. Currently, I serve as the lead teacher in a 3-year-old room at a daycare, continuously refining my skills and understanding of early childhood development. This extensive background has equipped me to nurture young minds effectively.

"I am so excited to provide this full curriculum to parents. It can be a full year or just come back each month or even weekly. I know it's important to have flexibility because most homeschoolers are one income families."
